MPC wallet

BlockPeer offers a Multiparty Computation (MPC) Wallet, enabling users to manage their digital assets across multiple blockchains securely, using passwordless email login or MetaMask integration. The wallet ensures high-level security and seamless interaction with 13+ blockchain networks, all accessible from within the platform.

Step 1: Navigating to the MPC Wallet

  1. Login to BlockPeer

    • Begin by logging into your BlockPeer account using your credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Wallet Page

    • On the BlockPeer dashboard, locate and click on Wallet from the main menu.

Step 2: Connecting the MPC Wallet

BlockPeer provides two ways to connect your MPC wallet:

Option 1: Email Passwordless Login

  1. Click on 'Connect Wallet'

    • On the Wallet page, select the Connect Wallet option.

  2. Use Email for Passwordless Login

    • Choose the option to connect using your email. It’s recommended to use your official email or the email associated with your BlockPeer app login for added security.

  3. Complete Authentication

    • After entering your email, you’ll receive an authentication link or OTP (One-Time Password) in your inbox. Follow the instructions to authenticate and connect your wallet.

  4. Wallet Connected

    • Upon successful connection, you’ll be directed to the MPC Wallet Dashboard, where you can view your token balances.

Option 2: Connect with MetaMask

  1. Choose MetaMask Wallet

    • Alternatively, if you use MetaMask, select the MetaMask option from the wallet connection methods.

  2. Authorize MetaMask Access

    • Follow the MetaMask prompts to authorize BlockPeer access to your MetaMask wallet.

  3. Wallet Connected

    • After MetaMask authorization, your wallet will be connected, and the MPC Wallet Dashboard will display your token balances and assets.

Step 3: Viewing the Wallet Dashboard

Once connected, the Wallet Dashboard offers an overview of all your assets on supported blockchains.

  • Token Balances: View balances of native tokens (e.g., ETH, MATIC), stablecoins, and other tokens in your MPC wallet.

  • NFT Holdings: Any NFTs associated with your wallet will also be displayed.

  • Supported Blockchains: BlockPeer supports the following 13 blockchains, with more integrations in progress:

    • Ethereum

    • Polygon

    • BNB (Binance Smart Chain)

    • Optimism

    • Arbitrum

    • Celo

    • Base

    • Avalanche

    • Gnosis

    • Polygon zkEVM

    • ZKSync Era

    • XDC

Step 4: Depositing and Withdrawing Tokens

Deposit Tokens

To deposit tokens into your MPC wallet, you will need to send them from an external wallet or exchange to the wallet address provided by BlockPeer.

  1. Obtain Deposit Address

    • On the Wallet Dashboard, select the token you wish to deposit.

  2. Copy Wallet Address

    • Copy the corresponding wallet address for that blockchain.

  3. Send Tokens from External Wallet

    • Use an external wallet or exchange (e.g., MetaMask, Binance) to send tokens to the copied address.

    The deposit will appear on your Wallet Dashboard once the transaction is confirmed on-chain.

Withdraw Tokens

  1. Choose Token to Withdraw

    • In the Wallet Dashboard, find the token you wish to withdraw.

  2. Click ‘Withdraw’

    • Click the Withdraw button next to the respective token.

  3. Enter Withdrawal Details

    • Input the recipient’s wallet address and the amount you wish to withdraw.

  4. Confirm Transaction

    • After reviewing the details, confirm the transaction.

Step 5: Managing Multiple Blockchains

BlockPeer’s MPC wallet allows seamless interaction with multiple blockchains, including:

  • Ethereum

  • Polygon

  • BNB (Binance Smart Chain)

  • Optimism

  • Arbitrum

  • Celo

  • Base

  • Avalanche

  • Gnosis

  • Polygon zkEVM

  • ZKSync Era

  • XDC

Each blockchain's assets can be managed from the Wallet Dashboard, allowing you to track token balances, deposits, and withdrawals effortlessly.

Step 6: Enhanced Security Features

In addition to the distributed security offered by Multiparty Computation (MPC), BlockPeer provides advanced security measures to further protect your MPC wallet.

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Users can add SMS verification or Google Authenticator as an additional security layer when accessing their MPC wallet.

  • Passwordless Email Login: Eliminate the risk of password breaches by utilizing email-based passwordless authentication.

  • MPC Technology: This technology ensures that your private key is never held by a single party, reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
